Start with what you want to learn
Choose a supported question: compare the whole station, ask where you are heard better, ask what you can hear better, or profile one antenna. Then enter the station, antennas, band, direction, and complete repetition count.
The normalized review shows the directed counterbalanced order, cycle count, antenna-versus-direction changes, and required WSPR cycle time. It also states what the run cannot prove before any evidence is collected.
Switch, confirm, and follow the actual cadence
The app presents one current instruction at a time. After the physical antenna change, the operator presses the named ready action. AntennaBench then chooses the next eligible even-minute WSPR cycle.
Missed or bad cycles, notes, corrections, interruptions, and optional controller failures remain explicit. Earlier evidence is retained instead of silently rewritten to match the plan.
Public spots, local decodes, imports, and operator facts
WSPR.live public spots can be gathered on a best-effort basis. Local WSJT-X decodes, bounded WSPR or Reverse Beacon Network imports, and operator facts keep their own provenance. A network gap does not erase evidence already safe on disk.
Compare like with like, then inspect the limitations
The report can show zero-centered same-path differences, reach seen on only one comparison side, coverage and imbalance, switching-order context, and available distance, direction, or solar context. Comparisons stay separate by direction, band, mode, observation kind, and source.
“Insufficient data” is a useful outcome. AntennaBench provides descriptive evidence today; it does not select a winner or claim a result generalizes beyond the recorded session.
